Microsoft Visio 2016 Viewer allows anyone to view Visio drawings in their Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser. Users can also upload their files to SharePoint or OneDrive without having to install Visio Viewer on their local computer.
Using the Microsoft Visio 2016 Viewer, Visio users can freely distribute Visio drawings (files with extensions .vsdx, .vsdm, .vsd, .vdx, .vdw, .vstx, .vstm, .vst, or .vtx) to teams Members, partners, customers, or others, even if Visio is not installed on the recipient's computer. Internet Explorer also allows printing, but only for the portion of the drawing that is displayed.

To view a Visio drawing, simply double-click the drawing file in Windows Explorer. After that, Internet Explorer will open and Visio Viewer will render the drawing in the browser window. After that, you can pan and zoom in the drawing window using toolbar buttons, keyboard shortcuts, or menu items in the Shortcuts menu. You can also open the Properties dialog and select any shape to view its properties. Some rendering and display settings are available on the Display tab of the Properties dialog. To install this download:

To use the 32-bit version of the file, double-click the visioviewer32bit.exe program file on your hard drive to start the installer.
To use the 64-bit version of the file, double-click the visioviewer64bit.exe program file on your hard drive to start the installer.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Instructions for use:

In Windows Explorer, double-click the Visio drawing. An Internet Explorer window opens and Visio Viewer loads, which in turn loads the drawing and renders it in the browser window.
On the Internet Explorer File menu, click Open. In the Open dialog box, select the Visio drawing. At this point, Internet Explorer loads the Visio Viewer, which then renders the drawing in the browser window.
If you have an Internet Explorer window open, you can drag and drop the Visio drawing file into the window. At this point, Internet Explorer loads the Visio Viewer, which then renders the drawing in the browser window.
If Internet Explorer displays a warning, such as "Internet Explorer restricts this page from running scripts or ActiveX controls," click Allow blocked content. Visio Viewer is implemented as an ActiveX control.

To remove installed files, uninstall Microsoft Visio 2016 Viewer using Control Panel.
